Man Held for Attempting to Abuse Minor Girl in Pindi

Rawalpindi: Pirwadhai Police on Thursday arrested a man accused of attempting to sexually abuse a 10-year-old girl.

According to a police spokesman, a complaint was lodged reporting that the suspect had tried to assault the minor. Acting swiftly, police registered a case and took the accused into custody.

Superintendent of Police (Rawal Division) Saad Arshad directed the investigation team to compile a strong challan with concrete evidence to ensure the suspect’s conviction in court.

He reiterated that incidents of harassment and violence against women and children would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
