Man Found Shot Dead in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: The young nephew of APP staffer Raja Nadeem Iqbal was found shot dead in a field within the jurisdiction of Kallar Syedan police station on Tuesday.

According to a Rawalpindi police spokesman, the body of the deceased, Abdul Rahim Bhatti, was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for postmortem before being handed over to his family.

The victim’s father, Abdul Latif, a resident of Qasimabad Rawat, reported to the police that his son had gone missing from Humak two days ago. He suspected that his son was murdered by his friends.

Police have launched an investigation and are collecting evidence from the crime scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the murder.
