Man Arrested for Threatening Female Lawyer

Faisalabad: The Faisalabad police have arrested a man for allegedly threatening a female lawyer involved in a rape case.

The accused, identified as Muhammad Shehzad from Chak No. 256-GB in Toba Tek Singh, was apprehended after making threatening phone calls to Advocate Ayesha Yasmeen.

The lawyer reported the threats to the Women Police Station, which traced the suspect through his mobile phone. The arrested man is a known offender, wanted in several other cases. Authorities are continuing efforts to apprehend his accomplice, the police spokesperson confirmed.
