Woman Shot Dead Wife Over Domestic Issue

Havelian: In a tragic incident, a man allegedly shot dead his wife over a domestic issue in Havelian on Saturday, police sources said.

A domestic dispute turned violent in the village of Langrial, an area under the jurisdiction of the Nara police station in Tehsil Havelian.

Allegedly, a man shot his wife to death and managed to flee from the crime scene.

According to sources within the Nara police, Javed, the son of Aurangzeb, is believed to have shot his wife, Rabia Bibi, during the domestic altercation before fleeing.

Following the incident, Station House Officer (SHO) Haroon Khan, along with a team of officers, reached the scene and gathered evidence. The body was shifted to the Type-D Hospital Havelian for a postmortem examination.

Subsequently, after the registration of the First Information Report (FIR), the Nara police initiated an investigation into the matter.  A specialized team was formed with the objective of probing the incident thoroughly and apprehending the accused.
