Man Allegedly Kills Stepmother in Peshawar

Peshawar: A man allegedly shot dead his stepmother in Peshawar, sources said on Friday.

The heartbreaking incident occurred in Paharipura, Peshawar, where a woman lost her life at the hands of her stepson.

The tragic event took place near Dilawar Bus Stand on GT Road, Peshawar, where Ali, the son of Rehmanullah, allegedly shot his stepmother dead.

Asadullah, who was at Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar trauma room with the deceased’s body, shared that Bibi was traveling to Chakwal with her younger daughters when the unfortunate incident unfolded.

According to Asadullah, Bibi’s stepson and a rickshaw driver approached them near Dilawar Adda and carried out the shooting.

Local police quickly responded to the scene, taking action by moving the body for a post-mortem examination. 

Efforts are ongoing to arrest the suspect involved in this tragic event.
