PMD Forecasts Mostly Dry

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast predominantly dry weather across most parts of Pakistan in the next 12 hours.
The synoptic condition indicated that continental air predominated across most of the area. The northern region of the country is being impacted by a shallow westerly wave.
The weather will remain dry in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred over the past 24 hours in Upper/Central Punjab, Kashmir, and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In other regions of the country, the weather stayed dry.
The rainfall recorded was Punjab: Bhakkar 14mm, Rawalpindi (Chaklala), Narowal 01, and Kashmir: Muzaffarabad (City 06, A/P 03) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Dir (Upper), Buner 05, Balakot, and Parachinar 01mm.
