Mahira Khan’s Playful SRK Remark Goes Viral Again

Karachi: Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan has once again captured fans’ attention, this time with a lighthearted response about her bond with Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan.

During a recent appearance on a talk show, Mahira was asked to choose between her ‘Humsafar’ co-star Fawad Khan and her Raees co-star Shah Rukh Khan as her preferred leading man for a future film.

Calling it an “impossible” choice, the actress laughed off the question, saying, “Yeh galat sawal hai,” and declined to pick either star. 

Instead, she surprised the audience by gesturing toward fellow guest Fahad Mustafa and joking that she would rather sign her next project with him.

Mahira had appeared on the show alongside Fahad Mustafa to promote their upcoming film ‘Aag Lagay Basti Mein‘, scheduled for release on Eidul Fitr 2026.

Mahira and Shah Rukh Khan previously shared screen space in the 2017 Bollywood film ‘Raees’, in which SRK played a Gujarati gangster while Mahira starred as the female lead. 

Despite political tensions and restrictions on Pakistani artists working in India, the actress has continued to speak fondly of her Bollywood experience, often describing Shah Rukh as her “childhood love.”

Meanwhile, she remains widely admired for her iconic on-screen chemistry with Fawad Khan in the hit drama Humsafar.

With Aag Lagay Basti Mein gearing up for release, Mahira Khan appears set for a busy year ahead, as her candid interviews and cross-border popularity continue to keep her in the spotlight.
