Light Rain in Lahore with Forecast for Similar Conditions

Lahore: Light rain began early Saturday in Lahore, with the Meteorological Department forecasting similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Officials indicated that strong monsoon currents are expected to move from the Arabian Sea into the upper regions on Saturday night, with the potential to spread to central and southern parts of the country starting July 29.
Rain, along with windstorms and thundershowers, is anticipated in Kashmir, eastern Punjab, the Potohar Region, Islamabad, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and southeast Sindh. Heavy rainfall may occur in isolated areas of northeast Punjab and Kashmir. In contrast, other regions are expected to experience hot and very humid weather.
Rainfall was recorded in several cities across the country. The highest temperature of 47°C was recorded in Noukundi and Dalbandin, while Lahore experienced a maximum temperature of 37°C and a minimum of 26.8°C on Saturday.
