Lahore’s Kartarpur Resort Plans

Lahore: The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has tentatively decided to establish the ‘Darshan Resort’ in Kartarpur, a project approved by Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi linked to the Kartarpur Corridor.
TDCP sources said that the corporation plans to construct a 50-room hotel for ‘Darshan’ in Kartarpur, aiming to provide top-notch facilities for Sikh pilgrims visiting Punjab. Expressing his commitment, Mohsin Naqvi assured that Sikh pilgrims would receive exceptional facilities in Punjab.
He extended a heartfelt invitation to Sikh families, not just for pilgrimage but also for exploring Pakistan through tourism. He pledged comprehensive facilities in Eminabad, Farooqabad, Nankana Sahib, and Kartarpur.
During a meeting, Provincial Secretary of Tourism Raja Jahangir Anwar presented details on the Kartarpur Darshan Resort. CM Naqvi emphasized the need for a thorough plan for the Kartarpur Resort.
Several officials, including Provincial Tourism Minister Amir Mir, Secretary of Planning and Development, TDCP managing director, general manager of operations, and relevant authorities, participated in the meeting. The Narowal deputy commissioner joined the discussion via video link.
