Kundi Unveils PPP’s Governorship Plans for Punjab, KP

Islamabad: Faisal Karim Kundi, the leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, has stated that the governors of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will be appointed from the PPP.

Speaking on Geo News program, Kundi mentioned that he will vote for PML-N, and the PPP will not be a part of the federal cabinet.

He emphasised that their criticism will be constructive, aimed at reform, and not merely for the sake of criticism. Kundi mentioned the formation of committees within both parties to make decisions collectively.

He also indicated that Shehbaz Sharif is likely to become the Prime Minister, given his authority to form the cabinet. Kundi highlighted the challenges in making these decisions, citing pressure from the party’s Central Executive Committee and the public.

Kundi also mentioned that announcements regarding the Chief Ministers of Sindh and Balochistan will be made either today or tomorrow.
