KSA Scrapping Visa Stickers For Pakistan
News Desk
Islamabad: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has announced a major visa change for visitors arriving from 12 countries. Under the new system, incoming travellers will no longer need a visa sticker in their passport.
The Kingdom’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said Saudi visa stickers would be replaced by a printed e-visa featuring a QR code. The code will contain all the required data and information on the passenger.
The e-visa will replace the stickers for labour, visit, or residency visas.
The new procedure is part of the digitalization of the ministry’s consular services, including work permits, residence visas and visit visas.
Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia stopped using visa stickers in the passports of visitors from the
UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.
