KP Reports 14 New Dengue Cases, Active Cases Rise to 272

Peshawar: Dengue continues to affect Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 14 new confirmed cases reported in the past 24 hours, the provincial Health Department said on Saturday.
Currently, the province has 272 active dengue cases. Six new patients were admitted to hospitals across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in the last 24 hours, while a total of 12 patients are receiving treatment in various healthcare facilities.
So far this year, the province has recorded 6,053 dengue cases, of which 2,077 required hospitalisation. A total of 5,777 patients have recovered, while four deaths have been reported.
Health authorities continue to closely monitor the situation and urged residents to take preventive measures to avoid mosquito breeding and reduce the risk of dengue infection.
