KP Police Launch E- Safe Election Apps for Enhanced Security

Peshawar: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police took a significant step towards e-policing by introducing e-policing and Safe Election digital applications on Thursday.
These initiatives aim to prevent crimes by providing citizens with convenient access to police services.
According to DIG IT Irfan Tariq, the e-policing app will contain data on suspects nationwide, aiding quick identification of criminals and vehicles.
The e-safe election app is designed to enhance security plans for elections, and the e-police check posts app aims to address issues faced by the public while providing access to officers at check posts.
The app currently holds details of over 750,000 individuals accused of various crimes in the last three years, facilitating the identification and arrest of suspects.
