KP Launches Lakeshore Tourism Project Partnership

Peshawar: The Special Assistant to Chief Minister Abdul Karim Tordher affirmed the provincial government’s commitment to facilitating investment and socio-economic development in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

During a high-level meeting at the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KPBoIT), Tordher emphasized the importance of the Lakeshore Tourism Project in Khanpur and promised full support to relevant departments and private investors for its successful execution.

The meeting focused on the project’s progress, noting that the master plan has been prepared by the investment group.

With an investment of approximately eight billion rupees, the project will span 800 Kanal of prime land in Khanpur, transforming it into a premier tourism destination with high-quality housing and various tourism and hospitality components designed to attract both local and international visitors.

The discussion highlighted the project’s vision for sustainable development while preserving Khanpur’s natural environment. The anticipated economic impact includes substantial employment opportunities and a boost to the local economy.

The Special Assistant expressed appreciation for the investment group’s interest and KPBoIT’s efforts to attract investors.

The meeting, attended by key stakeholders including KPBOIT managers, representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), KP Culture and Tourism Authority, the Archaeology Department, and investors, assured regulatory support to ensure smooth project execution.
