KP Govt Imposes Three-Day Curfew in S Waziristan

Peshawar: A three-day curfew has been imposed in the Lower South Waziristan areas of Sanga and Inzar Chinna, effective from Sunday, to facilitate safe operations by security forces in the region.
According to a notification issued by the office of Deputy Commissioner Nasir Khan, the curfew will be enforced daily from 5am. to 6pm, with strict restrictions on human movement during these hours. The decision aims to ensure the smooth execution of security measures in these sensitive areas.
The Deputy Commissioner has called on the residents of Shakai to cooperate fully with the authorities, emphasizing that their support is crucial for maintaining order and ensuring the safety of all citizens.
Authorities have urged locals to comply with the curfew to allow uninterrupted security operations, assuring them that the measures are temporary and intended for their protection.
