Khushhal Khan Called ‘Mama’s Boy’ Over Podcast Comment
News Desk
Islamabad: Emerging Pakistani actor Khushhal Khan recently appeared on the popular podcast Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt, where a remark about marriage sparked widespread debate across social media.
During the conversation, host Ahmed Ali Butt asked Khushhal about his thoughts on marriage and any romantic interests. In response, Khushhal shared that his decision to marry would be entirely up to his mother, saying, “Ami ka hukam ho ga tab hi ho gi” (I will get married when my mom says so).
His statement quickly drew attention online, with many labeling him a “mama’s boy” and offering mixed reactions. One user sarcastically wrote, “Another product of maa ka laadla,” while another commented, “Oooh so he is a mama’s boy – red flag.” A third user jokingly added, “36 ayen gi, 36 jayen gi, mere wali mummy hi laaye gi.”
Despite the criticism, several users came to Khushhal’s defense, arguing that there’s nothing wrong with respecting one’s mother’s wishes. One commenter wrote, “Mama’s boy isn’t a red flag. He just said he’ll marry when his mother wants him to. What’s wrong with that?” Another added, “Not a red flag… just good upbringing.”
Khushhal Khan, known for his breakout role in Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri and his film debut in Poppay Ki Wedding, continues to build a strong fan base with his compelling performances and rising popularity.
