‘Khelta Punjab’ Games’ to Begin on October 2

Rawalpindi: The Chief Minister Punjab’s sports initiative, ‘Khelta Punjab’, is set to kick off on October 2, with 18 teams from the Rawalpindi Division, comprising both men’s and women’s squads, participating in the event.

According to details, 12 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams will compete in various sports across four districts of the Rawalpindi Division.

Divisional Sports Officer Waheed Ahmed has called on local clubs and players to register their teams at their respective Tehsils and districts. Players can also register online under Punjab Sports or contact the Divisional Sports Office for assistance.

Waheed Ahmed further confirmed that all preparations for the Khelta Punjab Games have been completed to ensure the successful organization of the event. 

The competition will be held in two phases: first at the district level, followed by the division level. A prize pool of Rs 7.0 million has been allocated for the event.
