Karachi Heatwave Persists Today, Rainfall Likely Tomorrow

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall in Karachi on Monday and Tuesday, bringing a potential break from the city’s ongoing heat and humidity.
According to the Met Office, weather conditions on Sunday will remain hot and humid, with the sea breeze continuing over the next 24 hours. Winds are expected to blow at speeds ranging between 15 and 40 kilometers per hour.
Humidity levels will remain high, ranging from 55% to 80%, making the temperature feel 8 to 10 degrees Celsius warmer than the actual reading.
The day began with a minimum temperature of 34°C, while the maximum is likely to climb between 36°C and 38°C.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions against the heat until the anticipated showers provide some relief in the coming days.
