Stonecrest: Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated her 60th birthday on Sunday while campaigning in Georgia, a crucial battleground state in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. Speaking at a Baptist megachurch near Atlanta, Harris urged the congregation to embrace compassion in the face of an increasingly divisive political landscape.

Although she refrained from naming her opponent, 78-year-old Donald Trump, the crowd understood her allusions, especially as Harris highlighted the importance of choosing “a country of freedom, compassion, and justice” over one ruled by “chaos, fear, and hate.”

With just over two weeks left before Election Day, Harris and Trump are locked in a fierce contest. The former president has come under scrutiny for his age and erratic speeches, but his supporters remain loyal.

Both candidates have ramped up their campaigns in key states like Pennsylvania, with high-profile surrogates joining the effort to win votes.

As the race enters its final phase, Harris’s birthday speech in Georgia could serve as a defining moment in mobilizing voters in this critical election.
