Multan: In a distressing moment, an unemployed young man endangered himself by scaling a 150-foot tower. After intense negotiations, he safely descended from the tower at Sadu Hassam Chowk on Wednesday.

Upon receiving the alert, local authorities, including the police and rescue teams, swiftly responded to ensure the safety of Mehrab, a resident of Double Phatak. Despite initial resistance and threats of self-harm, a concerted effort was made to engage him and avert a tragedy.

Former Provincial Assembly Member (MPA) Salman Naeem promptly arrived at the scene, demonstrating his commitment to addressing the urgent situation. Collaborating with local authorities, Naeem engaged in delicate negotiations with Mehrab.

Ex-MPA Salman Naeem successfully persuaded Mehrab to come down from the tower and accompanied him to his office for a conversation. Naeem also assured Mehrab that his concerns would be addressed amicably.
