Jawaria Abbasi Announces Marriage After Engagement

Islamabad: Well-known Pakistani actress Jawaria Abbasi has revealed her recent marriage following her engagement earlier this year.

In a recent appearance on a private TV channel’s program, Jawaria Abbasi, along with her longtime friend and actor Shahood Alvi, openly discussed her personal life.

During the program, she disclosed that she got married three months ago in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends. She expressed her happiness and shared that she is now living a joyful life with her husband.

Explaining the reasons behind her decision to marry, Jawaria said that she had previously shouldered many responsibilities, which prevented her from considering marriage.

However, after her daughter Anzeela’s marriage last year, she found it difficult to live alone. When her current husband proposed, she sought advice from friends and close relatives before deciding to get married.

Jawaria also spoke about the responsibilities she managed prior to her marriage. She mentioned that her mother was seriously ill, and her father was also very sick. Additionally, she took care of her daughter and her younger sister, Anoushay Abbasi, and a brother.

During the conversation, Jawaria confirmed the divorce of her younger sister Anoushay Abbasi and mentioned that she is now looking for a suitable match for her sister.

Recounting how she met her husband, Jawaria shared that their meeting took place during a function, after which he proposed, leading to their marriage.

It’s noteworthy that Jawaria Abbasi was first married to actor Shamoon Abbasi in 1997, and they have a daughter, Anzeela Abbasi.

The couple divorced in 2009 after 12 years of marriage.

Jawaria announced her engagement on May 5 this year, sharing a picture of herself wearing a ring at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, hinting at the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

Now, she has confirmed her marriage, marking a new beginning.
