ITP Launches Crackdown on Illegal Parking in H-9 Bazaar

Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP), under the supervision of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Zeeshan Haider, launched an operation on Sunday to curb illegal parking in H-9 Bazaar.

According to a public relations officer, the crackdown was initiated on the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi to ensure smooth traffic flow. During the operation, illegally parked vehicles and motorcycles were removed from the area.

CTO Zeeshan Haider instructed officers to take strict action against violators, urging citizens to use designated parking spaces. “Daily operations are being conducted in markets and commercial areas to address traffic violations, and strict measures will be enforced against non-compliance,” he stated.

Citizens welcomed the initiative, acknowledging its role in improving traffic management. The CTO assured that further steps would be taken to maintain an orderly traffic system in the capital.
