ITP Announces Traffic Diversion on Expressway, Club Road

Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a traffic diversion advisory for the Expressway and Murree Road/Club Road on Friday in connection with a special programme.

According to an ITP spokesperson, the diversions will be in effect from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and temporary traffic adjustments at various points may affect the smooth flow of vehicles.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion:

Those traveling from Rawat towards the Expressway should take the Rawat–Rawalpindi–Peshawar Road.

Commuters coming from IJP Road and # towards the Expressway are recommended to use inner-city service roads.

The spokesperson urged citizens to plan their journeys in advance and allow an additional 20 to 25 minutes to reach their destinations. ITP officers will be deployed across affected areas to assist commuters and manage traffic during the diversion period.
