Israeli Raid Hits West Bank
News Desk
Gaza: Israel has launched a major military operation in the occupied West Bank, resulting in the deaths of nine Palestinian fighters, as the ongoing Gaza war continues with no signs of resolution.
The conflict, now stretching into its 11th month, has claimed over 40,000 lives in Gaza, according to the territory’s health ministry. The war has also caused massive destruction, displaced nearly all of Gaza’s 2.4 million residents at least once, and triggered a severe humanitarian crisis.
Early Wednesday, the Israeli military conducted coordinated raids across four West Bank cities: Jenin, Nablus, Tubas, and Tulkarem.
Armored vehicles entered refugee camps in Tulkarem and Tubas, as well as in Jenin. By midday, Israeli forces had blocked access to these towns and camps, with ongoing gunfire and explosions reported.
