Islamabad: To make toll services more accessible during Ramadan, the Islamabad district administration has revised M-Tag service hours, introducing extended 12-hour and 24-hour options at multiple locations.
Under the new schedule, four centers, including 26 Number Chungi, F-9 Park, Faizabad, and Phulgran, will operate round the clock, ensuring uninterrupted access for citizens who cannot visit during regular hours.
Nine additional points, including Rawat Check Post, G-14 Check Post, and 9th Avenue I-9, will provide 12-hour service daily throughout the holy month.

The Directorate of Excise has extended staff shifts from 9 hours to 12 hours at selected centers to handle increased demand. Other locations offering 12-hour service include Wheat Godown Naka, Daman-e-Koh, Murree Road near Tulip Naka, Gulberg Greens, Millpur, and Margalla Avenue Check Post.
Officials emphasized that M-Tag installation requires valid ownership documents, a national identity card, a registered mobile number, and an official Excise number plate. Motorcycles or cars without department-issued plates will not be eligible.
Authorities encouraged citizens to take advantage of the extended hours to complete M-Tag registration promptly. The initiative aims to streamline traffic management, enhance toll compliance, and improve public convenience during Ramazan.
