Is Pakistan Ready to Turn the Tables on India in New York?
News Desk
Islamabad: The Pakistan cricket team has arrived in New York to face India in a T20 World Cup match following an embarrassing defeat by the USA in their first game.
After a four-hour journey from Pune, the team had a complete rest day on Friday.
Historically, India has had the upper hand in their encounters, winning five out of seven matches. Pakistan has secured just one victory, while one match ended in a tie, with Pakistan losing in the Super Over.
In the 12 matches played between the two teams, Pakistan has won only three, including a notable win in the Asia Cup.
Out of 24 matches in total, Pakistan has struggled to dominate. The team is set to play two T20 World Cup matches in New York.
The team will play first against India on June 9 and the second against Canada on June 11.
