Is Iqrar Ul Hassan Right to Defend Natasha in Karsaaz Incident?
News Desk
Islamabad: Iqrar Ul Hassan, a well-known Pakistani host and crime reporter famous for tackling social and political issues, has recently released a controversial video addressing the Karsaaz accident.
In his video, Iqrar Ul Hassan challenges those who have condemned the tragedy on social media, arguing that the affluent perpetrator is likely to escape justice by compensating the victims’ families.
Iqrar Ul Hassan stated, “The wealthy individual Natasha, who caused the deaths of an innocent father and daughter by running them over with her Prado in Karsaaz, Karachi, is not truly at fault; instead, it is us who are misled. We are the ones on the wrong side, raising our voices in a society that lacks justice, and naively expecting fair treatment.
We disrespect the wealthy by challenging them, not her. We are deluded to think she will face accountability. Natasha is perfectly fine; it is our illusion that she will be punished.
We expected the police to arrest her and treat her like others, but instead, she was escorted to the police station with the respect due to her. We mistakenly thought she was intoxicated, but it was her wealth that protected her.
The doctor who declared Natasha mentally stable is misguided; it is our protests and outcries that are causing obstacles.
