Islamabad: Pakistani dramas continue to expand their global footprint, with several titles crossing hundreds of millions—and even billions—of views on YouTube in recent years.
As 2026 begins, ‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’, starring Hania Aamir and Bilal Abbas Khan, is emerging as the strongest contender to become the first Pakistani drama this year to enter the coveted One Billion Views Club.
Since its debut in late 2025, the drama has consistently dominated online viewership charts. In just 18 episodes, it has already surpassed 600 million views on YouTube, placing it firmly on track to reach the billion-view milestone in the coming weeks.
Airing every Friday and Saturday, ‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’ has maintained strong momentum, backed by steady ratings and widespread engagement across social media platforms.
The 19th episode is scheduled to air on January 9, and industry observers believe the billion-view mark could be achieved well before the drama concludes.
If the milestone is reached, Hania Aamir will set a new record by becoming the only Pakistani actress to have five dramas surpass one billion views. Her previous projects in the elite club include ‘Mere Humsafar’, ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’, ‘Ishqiya’, and ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’.
The drama’s success is being attributed to the on-screen chemistry between Bilal Abbas Khan and Hania Aamir, a compelling storyline centered on Kamyar and Dr Ayra, high production quality, and a strong audience response reflected in its 8.7 rating on IMDb.
With viewership continuing to surge, ‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’ appears poised to become 2026’s first Pakistani drama to join the billion-view league.
