Iranian President to Arrive in Islamabad on Saturday

Islamabad: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian will arrive in Islamabad on Saturday, August 2, for a two-day official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, President Pezeshkian will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, senior cabinet members, and other top officials.
During his visit, the Iranian president is scheduled to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
This will be Dr. Pezeshkian’s first visit to Pakistan since assuming office as President of Iran. The visit follows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s trip to Tehran on May 26, 2025.
The visit is expected to further deepen the long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran and enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
