Iran Warns US Over Israel’s Airstrikes on Tehran
News Desk
Tehran: Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, declaring it equally responsible for the consequences of Israel’s deadly airstrikes on Tehran that killed several top Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists early Friday.
In a strongly-worded statement released by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Tehran asserted its “legal and legitimate” right to respond under the United Nations Charter, claiming that the Israeli operation was conducted with prior coordination and approval from Washington.
“The dangerous and far-reaching effects and consequences of the Zionist regime’s aggression against our beloved homeland of Iran will be the responsibility of this regime and its supporters,” the ministry said.

Iran further accused the US of complicity, alleging that such a complex and high-level military operation could not have been carried out without American knowledge and support. “The Zionist regime’s aggressive actions against Iran cannot have been carried out without the coordination and authorization of the United States.
Accordingly, the United States government, as the main supporter of this regime, will also be responsible for the dangerous effects and consequences of the Zionist regime’s adventure,” the statement added.

The warning from Tehran follows a series of Israeli airstrikes on key installations in the Iranian capital, which killed several high-ranking figures including General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, IRGC Commander-in-Chief Major General Hossein Salami, and nuclear scientists Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi and Dr. Fereydoon Abbasi.
The strikes, which mark a dramatic escalation in regional hostilities, have triggered widespread condemnation and raised fears of a broader conflict. Iran has yet to formally announce its response, but officials in Tehran have hinted at retaliation.
As tensions continue to escalate, international observers are urging restraint, warning that further escalation could have catastrophic consequences for the Middle East.
