Iran Warns UAE Over US Bases After Kharg Island Strike
News Desk
Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned the United Arab Emirates that American military bases on its territory will now be considered legitimate targets following a reported US attack on Iran’s Kharg Island, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency.
In a statement, the IRGC said that in order to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, it reserves the right to target locations from where the “US enemy” launches attacks. These locations include shipping ports, docks and US military bases located in several cities of the UAE.
The Iranian military also issued a warning to residents and communities in the UAE, urging them to evacuate areas near ports, docks and US military installations to avoid potential damage in the event of retaliatory strikes.

Iranian media reported that despite the US bombing of Kharg Island, considered the main artery of Iran’s oil exports, key oil installations on the island remain safe.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump claimed that American forces carried out what he described as the most powerful attacks in the history of the Middle East targeting Kharg Island and other Iranian military sites.
In a statement posted on Truth Social, Trump said every military target on Iran’s “crown jewel,” Kharg Island, had been completely destroyed, adding that US weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated.
However, Iranian officials rejected the claim, stating that the country’s oil facilities remain secure. They also warned that US bases in the region could now face intensified attacks.
