Mumbai: Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has recently surprised fans by sharing the details of his demanding daily routine and the new hobbies he picked up during the pandemic in an interview with The Guardian.
The 58-year-old actor, who has recently delivered blockbuster hits like Jawan, Pathan, and Dinky, attributed his success to not just hard work but also to the disciplined routine he follows.
Khan revealed that despite being over 50, he maintains a rigorous schedule, which includes eating only one meal a day and getting just four hours of sleep.
Khan mentioned that after the coronavirus pandemic hit, he found himself with more free time, which he used to learn Italian cooking and focus on exercise, resulting in a well-toned physique.
During film shoots, Khan’s day typically starts late and stretches into the early morning hours.
“I come home at 2 am, take a bath, and then exercise for 30 minutes,” he said. “I usually sleep at 5 am and wake up around 9 or 10 in the morning when I have a shoot.”
Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for his next big project, King, an action film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The movie, which is being filmed in London, will also star Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, and actor Abhishek Bachchan.
