Infinix targets budget buyers with ultra-slim Note Edge
News Desk
Islamabad: Infinix has entered the crowded mid-range smartphone market with a device that borrows heavily from recent flagship design cues while undercutting rivals on price.
The newly announced Infinix Note Edge combines a slim profile, curved display and oversized battery in a package aimed squarely at budget-conscious Android buyers.
At just 7.2mm thick, the Note Edge positions itself as an “ultra-slim” handset, though it stops short of the wafer-thin dimensions seen on premium devices such as Apple’s latest iPhone redesigns and Samsung’s edge-focused models. Still, its proportions and rear camera styling give it a look that will feel familiar to anyone tracking recent flagship trends.
Inside, Infinix has paired the sleek exterior with a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset and a notably large 6,500mAh battery — a combination designed to prioritise endurance over raw performance.
The company claims the battery can deliver up to 26 hours of Google Maps navigation or 22 hours of YouTube playback, addressing one of the most common pain points in the budget segment.

The device features a 3D curved glass display with narrow 1.87mm bezels and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Audio is handled by JBL-tuned dual stereo speakers, while durability comes via an IP65 rating, offering resistance to dust and water splashes, though falling short of flagship-grade protection.
Design is a key selling point. The Note Edge is offered in four finishes — Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue and Shadow Black — with the Silk Green variant featuring a leather-like textured back, while the others opt for matte finishes. Infinix describes the look as a “Pearl Light Ripple Shadow exterior”, emphasising visual flair in a price-sensitive category.
Charging speeds are competitive rather than class-leading, with 45W fast charging allowing the phone to reach a full charge in just over an hour. Infinix brands this feature as “Hyper Mode”.
Priced from $200 in the US, the Infinix Note Edge lands firmly in budget territory, with UK pricing yet to be confirmed.
By blending familiar high-end aesthetics with practical specifications and aggressive pricing, Infinix appears to be targeting buyers who want flagship style without flagship cost — a strategy that could make the Note Edge one of the more compelling value propositions in the Android market this year.
