Indian Elections: Polling Underway in Seven States

New Delhi: Polling is currently taking place in seven states during the sixth phase of elections in India on Saturday. 

As reported by Indian media, 58 Lok Sabha seats are up for grabs in this phase. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi cast their votes in Delhi today (Saturday).

Reports indicate a fierce contest between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi. The seventh and final phase of voting, which will cover 57 seats, is scheduled for June 1.

The results of the Indian elections will be declared on June 4.
