Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan received four new Eid dresses at Adiala Jail on Saturday

According to sources, the former prime minister was sent four new outfits along with shoes and a waistcoat to mark the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The jail administration confirmed the receipt of the items for the PTI founder.

Earlier, it was reported that Pakistan is expected to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday, March 31, subject to moon sighting confirmations.

The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meetings are scheduled for March 29 and March 30, during which the sighting of the Shawwal moon will be assessed. The Pakistan Meteorological Department stated that the moon would be visible at 3:58 PM on March 29 and could be seen for up to an hour.

Eid preparations are in full swing across the country, with citizens making arrangements for celebrations while awaiting the official moon sighting announcement.
