Imad Wasim Confirms Divorce from Sania Ashfaq

Islamabad: Former Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim has confirmed that he and his wife Sania Ashfaq have divorced, ending their marriage after several years.
Imad announced the separation through a statement shared on Instagram, saying the decision was made after long consideration due to ongoing differences. He stated that several issues had remained unresolved over the past few years, leading the couple to mutually part ways.
Requesting privacy, Imad urged fans and the public to respect their personal decision. He also asked people to refrain from sharing old photographs and not to refer to Sania Ashfaq as his wife anymore.
Addressing speculation and online commentary, the cricketer warned that legal action would be taken against individuals making negative or inappropriate remarks about their personal lives. He emphasized that despite the separation, he would remain fully committed to his responsibilities as a father.
“I will always be present for my children and take full responsibility for their care,” he said.
Imad Wasim and Sania Ashfaq were married in August 2019 and have three children.
In July 2025, reports had circulated on social media alleging Imad Wasim’s friendship with a woman named Naila, though the cricketer did not comment on those claims in his statement.
