IHC Removes Objections on PTI Founder’s Jail Facilities Petition

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has removed objections from the Registrar’s Office on a petition seeking appropriate facilities for the PTI founder in jail.

The court issued notices to the Central Jail Adiala Rawalpindi superintendent and requested comments by August 1.

Chief Justice Aamer Farooq heard the petition and approved the removal of objections.

Advocate Azhar Saddiqui, representing the petitioner, argued that the current facilities provided to the PTI founder do not comply with jail regulations. The court has asked for a response from the relevant authorities by August 1.
