IGP Takes Notice of Student’s Alleged Rape

Lahore: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, has taken cognizance of a distressing incident involving the rape of a BSc student under the guise of marriage in Muzaffargarh.

He has instructed the Regional Police Officer of Dera Ghazi Khan to furnish a comprehensive report on the matter.

Dr Usman Anwar has mandated the District Police Officer of Muzaffargarh to assemble a specialized team to promptly apprehend the perpetrator.

He has emphasized a thorough investigation into all facets of the case and urged for the swift arrest of the accused individual, ensuring that justice is served without delay.

Furthermore, the IGP Punjab has underscored the importance of prioritizing justice for the victimized student.
