ICT Police Reunite Four Missing Children with Families

Islamabad:The Islamabad police successfully reunited four missing children with their families on Saturday. Teams from the Noon, Lohi Bher, and Golra police stations conducted the operations.
According to an ICT public relations officer, the police were alerted by citizens who reported their children missing after extensive family searches failed to locate them. In response, the police utilized both technical resources and human efforts to track down and safely return the children.
A police official informed APP that two of the children were special needs individuals, which presented additional challenges during the search. He praised the ICT police’s dedicated efforts in reuniting the children with their families.
The official stressed the importance of child safety, urging parents to exercise greater caution. He noted that incidents of missing children could indicate a lack of parental attention or inadequate child protection measures.
The families expressed immense relief and gratitude for the police’s prompt and effective response. The ICT police were commended for their swift and compassionate efforts.
Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activity by contacting the emergency helpline ‘Pucar-15’ or using the ‘ICT-15 app.’
