Two Bike-Theft Gang Members Arrested

Bhara Kahu Police have arrested two members of an organised motorcycle-theft gang operating in Islamabad, recovering a stolen motorcycle and multiple dismantled parts.

An ICT Police official said on Sunday that the crackdown against motorcycle theft and street crime has been intensified across the capital. Using technical surveillance and human intelligence, the Bhara Kahu police team traced and arrested suspects Muhammad Yousaf and Aryan, who were wanted in several cases registered in Bhara Kahu and adjacent localities.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed to multiple thefts. Police are now working to trace other accomplices and recover additional stolen property.

DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq appreciated the team’s performance, noting that strict action against motorcycle thieves and street-crime gangs has led to a visible decline in such offences. He directed officers to continue targeted operations and ensure all criminals are brought to justice.
