Islamabad: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Safe City Directorate has fully activated a dedicated WeChat communication service for Chinese nationals, providing round-the-clock (24/7) access to the Command and Control Center for assistance, reporting, and security-related support.
A police spokesperson told APP on Thursday that the Safe City Chinese Security Desk, operating 24/7 within the Command and Control Center, continuously monitors activities and responds to queries from Chinese residents living and working in Islamabad.
The spokesperson said the newly activated WeChat help desk allows Chinese nationals to seek assistance without making a phone call. Through the platform, users can send messages, report suspicious activity, share complaints, or request help — and receive immediate responses from the Safe City monitoring team.
