Humid Conditions to Continue in Lahore

Lahore: Residents of Lahore, the capital of Punjab, are experiencing hot and humid conditions with partly cloudy skies.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Met Office forecasts that these weather conditions will continue over the next 24 hours, with a chance of scattered rain. Weak monsoon currents are penetrating the central and upper parts of the country at lower tropospheric levels, while a westerly wave is impacting the upper regions.

Hot and humid weather is expected to persist across most parts of the country, though isolated rain, windstorms, and thundershowers are possible in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Kashmir, and northeast Balochistan.

The maximum temperature recorded in Lahore was 38.0°C, with a minimum of 24.0°C.
