Disturbingly, numerous women protestors were reportedly arrested and separated from their male relatives and companions. Such treatment of Baloch citizens, peacefully exercising their constitutional right to assemble, is unjustifiable. It signifies a disregard for their plea to uphold their right to life and liberty.
We demand the immediate and unconditional release of all those detained. Once more, we urgently urge the government to organize a delegation to engage with the protestors and give fair consideration to their legitimate demands.
#MarchAgainstBalochGenocide is under attack by the Islamabad police. Many of our youth have been arrested, & many have been injured by tear gas shelling and violence. Right now, we are being treated worse than animals. Will the world raise its voice for us against this barbarism? pic.twitter.com/AYhRPW0K9S
