How Much Will the iPhone SE 4 Cost in Pakistan?

News Desk

Islamabad: Apple is preparing to launch the highly anticipated iPhone SE 4 on February 19, with CEO Tim Cook expected to make the official announcement. The fourth-generation model in Apple’s budget-friendly SE series is set to bring notable upgrades, albeit with a price hike.

Pricing and Storage Options

The iPhone SE 4 will start at $499, marking a $70 increase over its predecessor, the iPhone SE 3. However, concerns arise as the base model may still offer only 64GB of storage—an amount that might feel insufficient in 2025, particularly when many mid-range Android devices start at 128GB.

Apple is expected to offer three storage variants: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Following Apple’s typical pricing strategy, each upgrade could cost an additional $100, potentially pricing the 128GB model at $599 and the 256GB variant at $699.

In comparison, Google’s Pixel 9a is expected to offer similar specifications at a lower price point, with its 128GB version potentially costing around $100 less than the iPhone SE 4. This could make the Pixel 9a a strong competitor in North American markets.

Design and Expected Features

The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to adopt a design similar to the iPhone 14, featuring a notch display—a first for the SE lineup. It will be powered by the advanced A18 chip, ensuring better performance and longevity. Additionally, all models will come with 8GB of RAM, and Apple is set to replace Touch ID with Face ID, enhancing security and user experience.

Speculation suggests that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a display ranging between 5.7 and 6.1 inches, bringing it closer in size to the iPhone XR. There are also rumors of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as an alternative biometric option, though Face ID remains the more likely choice.

Pricing in Pakistan

For Apple enthusiasts in Pakistan, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch at an estimated price of Rs. 198,999.

The base model for this market is rumored to include 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM. Official pricing and availability details for Pakistan will be confirmed at launch.

While the iPhone SE 4 promises substantial improvements over its predecessor, its increased price may influence consumer interest. Nevertheless, it remains a compelling option for those seeking an affordable yet powerful iPhone experience.
