House Owner Arrested for Tenant Murder in Pirwadhai

Rawalpindi: A man was arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of a 22-year-old tenant in the jurisdiction of Pirwadhai police station on Monday.
According to the details, the alleged murderer, identified as Abdul Wahid, allegedly killed a young daughter of his tenant over a minor dispute.
A police spokesman said, a heated dispute over utility bills between Wahid and tenant escalated, resulting in Wahid fatally stabbing the victim, Hafiza, with a pair of scissors.
Following a complaint lodged by the victim’s brother, Pirwadhai police initiated an investigation into the incident. After an investigation of all possible angles, police apprehended Abdul Wahid, the suspected murderer.
SP (Rawal) Faisal Saleem affirmed that concrete evidence would be presented in court and would be punished. The SP (Rawal) commended the efforts of SDPO City and Pirwadha police for their dedication in solving the blind-murder and apprehending the perpetrator.
City Police Officer (CPO), Syed Khalid Hamdani, reiterated the importance of upholding the law, affirming that no matter the severity of the crime, perpetrators cannot evade justice.
