Hot Sales, Mega Discounts Around New Year Draw Customers To Markets

Islamabad: Famous stores and brands are running heated promotions and giving away enormous discounts in the twin cities to make the start of the New Year a memorable occasion.

A citizen, Rukhsana Afzal, said that huge sales from shops and brands have cheered up ladies and encouraged them to go shopping. “Customers are getting fair discounts during both online and in-store sales.”

After taking advantage of attractive offers, Rukhsana claimed that she felt the essence of a new year’s start in her spirit.

She noted that people from all walks of life are also visiting markets to take advantage of sales.

Another client, Sundas Waheed, claimed that merchants take advantage of the year’s conclusion by announcing bargains since it enables them to get rid of their winter inventory.

She further said that store owners reduce warehouse costs and that after taking advantage of sales discounts, customers save their winter clothing for the following season.

On the other hand, Yaqoob Khan opined that big sales and promotions encourage people to buy things they don’t need, which is bad routine to follow and also disrupts the household budget during inflationary times.

He claimed, “While companies promote significant discounts, the worthy products either receive little or no discounts at all, forcing buyers to buy pricey items.”
