According to weather forecasts, a fresh wave of westerly winds will impact the province, bringing heavy rain and snowfall to upper districts including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, and Kohistan. Rain accompanied by thunder is also likely in Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, and Kohat.

Authorities have warned that snowfall in Naran, Kaghan, Kalam, and Chitral may cause road closures and slippery conditions. There is also a risk of landslides and avalanches in the upper districts. Residents and travelers have been advised to remain cautious and take necessary precautions during the adverse weather conditions.

In view of the forecast of severe weather by the Pakistan Meteorological Department and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the Abbottabad district administration has been placed on high alert on the directives of the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
