Heavy Rain Expected Across Exmouth This Week

Exmouth: Exmouth is set for a wet week ahead, with heavy rain and persistent showers forecast by the Met Office from Wednesday through the weekend.

Wednesday, August 27 will begin with sunny intervals, but conditions will deteriorate quickly, with heavy rain expected from 10am and a 70 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures are forecast to peak at 20°C by mid-afternoon before easing into a clearer evening, with lows of around 13°C by midnight.

Thursday, August 28 will start clear, but light showers are expected from 7am, continuing through the day with a 60 percent chance of rain. Temperatures will rise to 19°C by early afternoon before heavy showers return in the evening, with a 90 percent chance of downpours and temperatures falling to 15°C by 10pm.

Friday, August 29 will bring further unsettled conditions, beginning with heavy showers and a 90 percent chance of rain. Although the heaviest rainfall is expected to ease after 7am, lighter showers will persist throughout the day, with highs of 19°C forecast by late afternoon.

Saturday, August 30 is predicted to remain unsettled, starting off cloudy with light showers from mid-morning and continuing into the afternoon. Temperatures will reach around 18°C by early afternoon.

Sunday, August 31 will offer some respite, starting with light showers but improving later in the day with sunny intervals expected in the afternoon. Highs are forecast at 18°C by 1pm.

The unsettled weather comes as much of the South West braces for wet and breezy conditions, with the Met Office urging residents to plan ahead for possible travel disruption during heavier downpours.
