Heatwave Grips Sukkur Division

Sukkur: The people residing in northern Sindh are enduring a prolonged heatwave that has persisted for several weeks, and it appears likely to persist as temperatures are forecasted to soar up to 50°C in the Sukkur division by Friday.

Weather experts emphasize that the ongoing heatwave in the Sukkur region will continue and may even see a further rise in temperatures.

Local MET officials have dismissed the possibility of rainfall for the next seven days. They have also projected that temperatures in Sukkur may range between 48 to 50°C.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has warned that Sindh might encounter three heatwaves in various districts over the next 30 days.
