Heatwave Delays Polio Drive in Balochistan

Quetta: The Balochistan government has postponed the polio campaign in six districts due to a heatwave starting today (Saturday).
The affected districts are Dera Bugti, Jaffarabad, Usta Muhammad, Sahabpur, Sibi, and Naseerabad.
Despite the heatwave, the anti-polio campaign continues on its sixth day in 14 other districts of Balochistan, including Quetta.
Polio teams are going door-to-door to administer polio drops to children up to five years of age. Security arrangements have been made for polio teams across Balochistan.
